USB to RJ11 adaptor for Internet (VoIP) telephony

RJ11 to USB Phone adaptor using the Tiger560C

To enable any regular phone to be used for Internet phone calls the Tiger560C by TigerJet can be used to build a USB to RJ11 adaptor. Using a Tiger560C based RJ11 to USB adaptor, any phone that has an RJ11 plug (desktop, cordless etc.) can place and receive Internet phone calls.

The unique design of the Tiger560C enables the RJ11 to USB Phone adaptor to provide full functionality (ring the phone, DTMF etc.) without any drivers being required.

The USB to RJ11 adaptor emulates the phone companies central office switch and provides power (Vbat) to the phone.

No external PSU is required as the power is supplied by the USB cable.

The SLIC i(Subscriber Line Interface Chip) is built into the Tiger560C.
