USB Internet phone interface - RJ11 to USB

Overview

The TigerJet USB phone interface solution enables a regular phone to be interfaced to a PC via the USB port, any standard phone can be plugged in via an  RJ11 connector. The card emulates the phone companies central office switch and provides power (Vbat) to the phone. No external PSU is required as the power is supplied by the USB.

Using the Tiger560 which has been designed to conform to Microsoft's USB Audio specification enables the use of the Microsoft USB audio driver that is provided as part of Windows (XP, 2000, 98). The Audio from the phone is available in Windows as a standard sound device, so all of the popular Internet Phone applications such as MSN Messenger, Net2phone etc. are supported.

By using a regular phone to place internet calls, the inconvenience and problems of attempting to use the existing PC sound card are avoided. In addition the use of the USB port enables quick and easy installation 

Our USB phone interface makes the experience of placing an Internet call exactly the same as if you are placing a regular call.
