USB Internet phone solutions using the Tiger560B

The Tiger560B chip designed by TigerJet enables a complete family of USB Internet phones to be manufactured ranging from a simple entry level USB handset to a sophisticated "business style" desktop phone.

For the lowest cost entry level product the Tiger 560B can be used to enable a USB phone handset.

In it's simplest implementation a USB cable can be connected to a regular phone handset with the Tiger560B on a small PCB in the handset.

Application software includes IP Phone Center and all of the popular VoIP "dialers" are supported.

USB phone with features

For a typical mid range product your USB phone could include your choice of the features below;
	Keypad 4x4, (16 keys) or 4x8 (32 keys)
	Bell to ring on incoming calls
	LCD display to show the number dialed etc.
	EEPROM to hold (for example) a serial number

All of the features are fully supported without the need to install any drivers.

USB desktop phone

For a high-end solution to address the enterprise Internet telephony market your USB desktop phone could include your choice of the features below;
	Keypad up to 32 keys
	Bell to ring on incoming calls
	On-hook / off-hook detection for the handset.
	LCD display to show the number dialed etc.
	EEPROM to hold (for example) a serial number

All of the features are fully supported without the need to install any drivers.

In addition to the examples above the wide range of functions can to mixed/matched to enable a product that meets the demands of your market. In addition the Tiger560B includes control lines that enables you to add functions that you have developed.
