PCI Internet phone interface

Overview

The TigerJet PCI Internet phone interface card solution enables a regular phone to be interfaced to Windows via a standard RJ11 phone connector. Our reference design emulates the phone companies central office switch and provides power (Vbat) to the phone.

Audio from the phone is available in Windows as a standard sound device, so all of the popular Internet Phone applications such as MSN Messenger, Net2phone etc. are supported.

By using a regular phone to place internet calls, you will avoid the inconvenience and problems of attempting to use the existing PC sound card. When you use the TigerJet PCI Internet phone interface the experience of placing an Internet call is the same as if your are placing a regular call.
