Driver reinstall

If your driver installation has become damaged or you had a problem during installation, you may find it useful to completely remove the drivers and do a fresh install.

To completely remove the drivers, please follow the instructions below.


Ensure your Internet phone / handset is plugged in

Close IP Phone Center by right clicking the icon in the tray and clicking Exit

Right click on My Computer > Properties > Device Manager

Remove (in the order listed below) do not reboot if Windows requests a reboot.

  •   USB Internet Phone by TigerJet

  •   TigerJet USB handset (with key pad) or USB Internet phone

  •   TigerJet USB composite device or composite USB device

Go to C:\WINDOWS\INF directory (Windows98, ME and XP home edition)

Go to C:\WINNT\INF directory (Windows 2000)

Delete the following files (sort the files by name order to find more easily)

  •   wdmaudio.pnf

  •   drvidx.bin

  •   drvdata.bin

  •   tjcom.pnf

  •   tjusbaud.pnf

  •   tjusbdev.pnf

Note: you may not have all of these files.

  •   Unplug the USB cable from your phone

  •   Go to install to Installation to reinstall your drivers.
