Diagnostic
Overview
The diagnostic program logs
all the of the events when IP Phone Center tries to place a call. This
page explains how to turn the diagnostic on and send us the log files.
Enable the diagnostic
Go to; C:\Program Files\IP Phone
Center
Double click on; BuddyLog.exe
Check the Enable logging mode box
Click OK
Important reboot your computer.
Place a test call
Place a call to "Voice Demo" (in the
Buddy List) and then place a call in a situation where you are having a
problem.
Disable the diagnostic
Double click on BuddyLog.exe again
Un-check the Enable logging mode box
Click OK
This is important as BuddyLog will
slow down IP Phone Center on some systems.
Important reboot your computer.
Send us the log files
Go to; C:\Program Files\IP Phone
Center
There will be two log files (sort by
date to find easily) called PcCall.log
and Buddynnnn.log (nnnn is the
date).
