Overview

IP Phone Center works together with TigerJet based Internet phones integrates all popular choices for making Internet phone calls using in a single easy to use application with a central "one stop" interface and it is free to use with TigerJet's hardware

The key features of the  IP Phone Center are;

•   Full skype interface API support.

•   Multiple languages interface support

•   Dial Skype or SkypeOut call using the phone key pad

•   Rings on Skype's incoming call with caller ID

•   Use your choice of phone ( including cordless phone)

•   Sound card independent and does not occupy your sound channel

•  The phone will ring, when you have an incoming call

•  To answer the call, Pick up the hand set

•  To hang-up the call, Hang-up the hand set

•  To make the call, select contact and dial "#" "#"

•  To Speed dial, Pick up hand set and dial the pre-set speed dial number, then  dial "#" "#"

•  To delete, Dial "#" "0"

•  To SkypeOut:  dial * ( or 00) then follow the phone numbers, the enter "#""#"

• To listen Skype voice mail, dial #7 to listen unheard voice mail. Dial #9 to call back last miss Skype call

• New feature: Make Skype call from your Phone's history list.
• New feature: Upload Skype contact list to your phone's history list. ( Right Click IPC icon and click "Upload skype phone book".
• For Dual port RJ11 reference design:

  Enter ( * # * ) toggle between regular line and Skype connection

  Warning tone for PSTN's incoming call while you are on Skype

   

• For Combo RJ11 reference design:

  Forward Skype call to PSTN line

  Forward PSTN's incoming call to Skype

How to use the demo hardware

LED signal:

• Line LED on: Indicates your phone is connected to PSTN telephone line
• VoIP  LED on: Indicates your phone is connected to PC for VoIP call
• Both Line and VoIP LED on:  Indicates PPG is enable and forwarding a call to PSTN line

Toggle the connection:

• Enter ( * # * ) will toggle the phone connection between PSTN / VoIP call

Answer regular Line or VoIP call:

• When you have PSTN incoming call, IPC will automatic select PSTN line
• When you have Skype incoming call, IPC will automatic select VoIP

Setup call forward function (for RJ11-Combo board):

1. Click IP Phone Center's Tools > Forward Phone number.
2. Check "Enable forward..." box
3. Enter phone number and waiting sec.

Setup 3 ways conference (for RJ11-Combo board):

1. Establish Skype call
2. Click the conference button on IP Phone Center to toggle connection to PSTN line
3. Establish regular line call and start 3 ways conference.

More Tips for using RJ11 phone adaptor-dual:

• When you Pick up the phone, it will connect to VoIP. If you want to switch to PSTN line, just dial ( * # * )
• When you are in Skype call, will hear a warning tone if you have  PSTN call ringing. You can dial ( * # *) switch to answer PSTN call and keep Skype call on hold
• When you are in regular phone call and like to answer Skype incoming call, enter ( * # * ) or click flash key (or hang-up shortly)  then ## to answer Skype call
• For Skype speed dial, dial "speed dial number" then ##
• For SkypeOut, dial * then phone number then ## ( or dial 00 then phone number then ##)

Tips to use the phone keypad

• To delete, Dial "#" "0"
• To Skype out, dial * or 00 then follow the phone numbers, then enter "#""#"
• Accept/Make call, dial #1
• Move cursor up: dial #2
• Reject/Hang-up call, dial #3
• Select Dialpad page [Skype 1.4 or later], dial #4
• Select Contacts page, dial #5
• Select History page [Skype 1.4 or later], dial #6
•  Listen Voicemail [Skype 1.4 or later], dial #7
• Move cursor down, dial #8
•  Instant callback, dial #9
•  Switch between multiple Skype calls, dial #9
• Backspace, dial #0
• Conference, dial #*
• Enter, dial ##
• Toggle connection between Regular Lin and VoIP, dial * # *
• New feature: Make Skype call from your Phone's history list.
• New feature: Upload Skype contact list to your phone's history list. ( Right Click IPC icon and click "Upload skype phone book".

Note: To set Skype pre-set speed dial number: In Skype's contact list, right click contact name then assign speed dial number
