Select the ISDN switch type that you will be
calling.

Enter the Phone number and SPID for the first
ISDN channel.
SPIDS are very important, usually your SPID is your ISDN phone number
with between 2 and 4 digits added to the end (depending on the phone
company).
For example (in this case), the SPID for 4084418319 will be
40844183190101.
Enter the phone number AND the additional digits without any
spaces. |

Enter the Phone number and SPID for the second
ISDN channel. |

To confirm that your ISDN modem has been
successfully installed, open device manager and expand Network adaptors.
If there is a problem you will see a yellow or red "!" next to the
device. |
The next stage is to set up a connection to your ISP |

Click Start > Programs > Accessories >
Communications > Network and Dial-up Connections. |

Click "Make New Connection" |
 |
Enter your location information. |
 |
Select your location. |
 |
The Network connection Wizard will start. |
 |
Check "Dial-up to the Internet". |
 |
Select "I want to . . . " |
 |
Choose "Tiger Jet . . . " as the modem. |
 |
Select "I connect through a phone line . . .
" |
 |
Choose "Tiger Jet . . . " |
 |
Enter your ISP's phone number |
 |
Enter your ISP User name and Password |
 |
Choose a name for the connection |
 |
You will now have a new icon with the name that
you choose for the connection. |

To adjust the connection settings, right click on
the icon and select "Properties". |

Note that only one channel is selected. The
connection speed will be 64K. |

For 128K operation, select the second channel.
Most ISPs will require that you dial the same number. So check the box
labeled "All devices call the same number". |
Your modem installation and ISP setup is now complete |

To connect to your ISP, right click on the name of
the connection and select "Connect". |
To change SPID or phone number settings |
 |
Bring up Device Manager.
Right click on "Tiger Jet . . . "
Click on "Properties" |

Select the channel that you want to modify.
Click OK to finish. |

An ISDN phone line has two 64K channels, each has a phone number
and a SPID.
If you have a connection issue, please check your SPIDS first.
Incorrectly entered SPIDs are about 50% of our technical support
calls.
